Full Specifications

Metalex Fire Doors are engineered to compartmentalise fire and smoke, slowing the spread between zones. Depending on the requirement, doors are made in steel, timber with fire core, or glazed fire-rated assemblies with tested vision panels. Ratings are available for 30, 60, 90, and up to 120 minutes, supported by intumescent seals, smoke seals, and heavy-duty self-closing devices. Frames are reinforced, hinges are fire-rated, and hardware options include panic bars, mortise locks, door coordinators, and hold-open units that release on alarm. Doors integrate with access control and fire alarm systems for fail-safe or fail-secure operation as per code. Surfaces get durable powder coating for corrosion resistance, maintenance is minimal, and replacements are simple due to standardised hardware prep.
