Metalex Trap Doors are engineered for safe entry to hidden spaces in floors, ceilings, or walls. You can choose high grade steel, GI, or SS with anti corrosion treatment and powder coated finishes. Designs include flush mounted hatches that sit level with the surface, with anti slip chequer plates for floor use, and weather protected covers for outdoor points. We size load capacity to your need, from light maintenance access to heavy duty traffic. Opening can be manual with gas springs or counterbalance arms, or powered with actuators for large lids. Safety is built in with hold open stays, fall arrest options, safety chains, clear labels, and lockable latches. Gaskets and drip edges help control dust and water ingress, and fire or IP rated variants are available on request. Hardware is service friendly for low downtime.
